Mrs. Zareena Jean Subhani
Topic:
I am interested in presenting to colleagues my work focused on G.R.I.T. My aim is to give practical ways for the implementation of the programme in a range of schools settings and concurrently share my experience of the programme within the settings I have worked. In terms of what I would be interested in hearing myself, I am truly passionate about education in whatever form it takes so would be delighted to have the opportunity to hear the work of colleagues from around the world. Of course, any related work to my own would be of obvious interest.

Relevant skills:

I am an experienced and committed practitioner who has taught in a range of settings that have informed my development. I am organised and approachable, enjoying both collaborative enterprises and individual endeavors. I have run a number of successful colleague training programmes that have enabled the development of both the professional and personal confidence and knowledge building of those involved. This undertaking has enabled me to develop both my communication skills and the ways to bring out the very best in a team. I have been part of the development of the PHSEE and Pastoral care programmes in all my school settings and it is from this area of my professional life that I derive most satisfaction. I am committed to the ideology that the students in our care should be given as many opportunities as possible to develop lifelong learning habits that will enable them to be fully rounded citizens who contribute effectively and compassionately to society. The development of my GRIT programme has been instrumental in supporting this endeavor.

Contribution:

Interested in the development of education and opportunities to present new methods and new trends in world and subcultural education, encouraging the development of the individual and the possibility of selecting individual practices and methods depending on the skills of individual students or groups of students.

Expectations:

I am very eager to meet with the teaching staff and educators creating new trends in live education during this forum. I would like to take part and be part of this meeting in Singapore.
