As the head of this educational organization, in 2015, for success in work, he was awarded the breastplate of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Honored Worker of Education”, and in 2016 the medal “For Contribution to the Development of Education”. Also in 2016 he was awarded the diploma "Zhіgerlі Kairatker" of the International Public Foundation "KATEV". From 2016 to the present, Mukanov Almas Djubayevich works as the principal of the MSI “Regional Kazakh Specialized Boarding School Complex for Gifted Children No. 11 named after S. Seifullin. During the work in this organization of education, according to the results of the regional stage of the Republican Subject Olympiad for schoolchildren, the school has been awarded the title “Best Olympic Team” several times. Pupils of the school take part and are prize-winners of various competitions, olympiads and scientific projects of regional, republican and international levels. In 2017, Mukanov A.D. for his contribution to the development of education was awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2018, he was awarded the breastplate in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Daryn" and the letter of acknowledgement from SULEYMAN DEMIREL UNIVERSITY. Received a letter of acknowledgement from the director of the RNPO "Daryn" Sh. Kirabaeva for his contribution to the high-level organization of the republican Olympiad "Mathematical Regatta" among teachers. In 2018, the republican seminar was held on the basis of the school on the theme “Forming human values based on functional literacy”. In this year only, under the management of Almas Dzhubayevich, six seminars were held for teachers of the region. Almas Djubayevich is the holder of the certificate for the course “Bіlіm Berudegі Management”, studied the course of professional development of the principals “Leadership in Education”. As a manager, he actively shares his work experience. In 2018, he spoke at the regional project “Growth Vector” for heads of educational institutions. Problems in education: Modernization of education is due to the changes taking place in modern society. In a changing world, the education system should form such a quality as professional universalism — the ability to change spheres and ways of working. On the other hand, global informatization and digitalization of society are taking place. Modern society needs people who can quickly adapt to the changes taking place in the world. In new circumstances, the process of teaching graduates in school should be focused on the development of competencies that contribute to the implementation of the concept of “lifelong education”. Here with these very competences Kazakhstani schoolchildren have big problems. Today, it is necessary to focus educational programs on the result, in which the level of competence is assessed. This requires a certain level of functional literacy. And the school should work on this. For this, it is necessary to make extensive use of the possibilities of project activities, the introduction of interactive methods, innovative forms and resources, and digitalization methods. Pay more attention to the development of practical skills, instead of theoretical cramming. Sometimes it is extremely difficult to understand scientific theory without presenting the process in practice, without feeling the parts of the mechanism with your own hands. The most fundamental thing is integration in practice, the lesson must be alive and active. Just the project activity allows students to get personal experience and master the activities they need in the future. To do this, review the variable part of the curriculum. It is necessary to give an opportunity to introduce various courses that will contribute to the diversified development of students and the development of their functional literacy.
