On February 4, 2019, a meeting was held between the representative of the Organizing Committee of the Global International Pedagogical Forum IPF∙2020, Alexander Priyutov, and the President of the Bulgarian Union of Teachers (Bulgarian Union of Teachers, SEB), Candidate of Technical Sciences Yanka Takeva. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Krasimir Popov - Vice-President of the Union, Mr. Jordan Krasev - Expert and Ms. Iveta Nedeva - Head of the Office of the President of the Union. This is the largest professional union in Bulgaria, uniting more than 89 thousand Bulgarian teachers. According to Madam President of the Union, one of the pressing issues that the Bulgarian Union of Teachers pays great attention to is the preservation and development of relations between the pedagogical communities in the era of globalization, and the IPF∙2020 Global International Pedagogical Forum will significantly strengthen these ties by making pedagogical experience exchange between countries more accessible and of higher quality. The Bulgarian Union of Teachers will support the Organizing Committee of the Global Forum in selecting the 10 best teachers in Bulgaria and will cover the costs of traveling for the country's best teachers to the cities hosting the Global Forum. The parties agreed to jointly participate in conferences on the problems of assessing the quality of education, which will be held in a number of Balkan countries.
