Dragana Radoman is an English language teacher in the elementary school “Milija Nikcevic” in Niksic and current President of the English Language Teachers’ Association of Montenegro ELTAM. She has been teaching for 14 years. She is a member of the team for professional development, a member of the team for entrepreneurial learning, a member of the peer violence prevention team, a coordinator of the Peace Education Program at school, and a coordinator of numerous school regional and international projects. She acquired her specialist degree at the University of Montenegro - Faculty of Philosophy Niksic, Department of English Language and Literature and her MSc degree at the University of Montenegro - Faculty of Political Science Podgorica, Department of Social Politics and Social Work. She acts as a coordinator of the English Access Microscholarship Program in Montenegro, language program for talented students from socially disadvantaged families, sponsored by the Department of State through the U.S. Embassy Podgorica. She is also a teacher trainer certified by Council of Europe and Bureau for Education Services of Montenegro, as well as certified youth worker. She has acquired the highest rank available for professional development of teachers in Montenegro - teacher researcher and she has won a prize from the Fund for Quality and Talents in 2018. Her fields of interest are ELT, Peace Education and Conflict Resolution. She has attended and presented at numerous educational events organised by national and international institutions and civil-society sector.

The topics I may contribute with are: the importance of continuous professional development, peace education and peer mediation programs in schools, implementing national and international projects, developing positive classroom atmosphere based on improving relations with and among students.

As Global International Pedagogical Forum gathers the community of devoted educators from the whole world, I believe it will be the place of fruitful exchange and triggering the challenges we are facing in our own respective countries, with the aim to come up with innovative approaches in teaching and to open multiple perspectives to students.
